SFCDMA GRANTS

ABOUT THE SFCDMA GRANT PROGRAM

SFCDMA has established a Grant Program that awards a certain number of Member Associations per month through a competitive application process. The number of Associations awarded monthly depends on SFCDMA funds and budgeting.

The Grant amount limit is $1,500.00. If you have a project that is budgeted higher, please explain in your application and we may consider higher amounts. Please do not send applications requesting more than $1,500.00.

PLEASE NOTE: THE SFCDMA GRANTS PROGRAM IS AVAILABLE TO SFCDMA MEMBER ASSOCIATIONS ONLY.

PLEASE NOTE: GRANT APPLICATIONS FOR 2019 ARE NOW CLOSED.

WE WILL BEGIN ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR 2020 IN APRIL.

Identify a need that your Merchant Association has in areas such as marketing, event expenses, security and maintenance, or operational needs.

Complete and submit the online application below.

SFCDMA will review the submission on a rolling monthly basis.

Grant award notification or decline is submitted from SFCDMA.

If SFCDMA has approved your grant application, a check will be submitted within 15-30 days with the receipt of an invoice stating SFCDMA Grant and month award letter is received.

WHO CAN SUBMIT AN APPLICATION?

All paid District Member Associations are welcome to apply for a SFCDMA Grant. Reforming Merchant Groups or new Merchant Groups that have been meeting for 6 months or more may apply if there are no objections, i.e., conflicting boundaries, etc. It is recommended that Associations be incorporated and have a 501c3 or 501c6 tax status, or be fiscally sponsored by a 501c3 or 501c6 organization. However, the SFCDMA Grant may be used for this purpose. Grant checks will be submitted to Associations only. If Associations are new members to the SFCDMA (1-6 months), we require that your Association retain membership for a minimum of 2 years from the first day of your membership. Applications must be approved by your Association before submitting the application. If you are not approved for a grant, you may apply again in a following month.

PLEASE NOTE: GRANT APPLICATIONS FOR 2019 ARE NOW CLOSED.

WE WILL BEGIN ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR 2020 IN APRIL.
