SAN FRANCISCO MAYOR
SFCDMA is thrilled to announce that this year's Featured Speaker at the 2019 Gala Celebration and Awards Dinner will be San Francisco Mayor London Breed.
Mayor Breed is the 45th Mayor of San Francisco and the first black woman and second woman overall to be elected mayor of the city, after winning the Mayoral Special Election held in June of last year, following the death of Mayor Ed Lee in December 2017.
Carmen Chu has been the Assessor-Recorder has for the City and County of San Francisco since 2013. Chu is currently one of the two women elected to a citywide office out of seven citywide positions. She is also the only Asian-American Assessor elected to serve among the 58 counties in the State of California.
Prior to being elected Assessor-Recorder, Chu served as a member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors.
